July 15th 2009 - Playground & Park

At Delridge Community Center, There was bank of America volunteers, neighborhood volunteers and many others. why? because they are now making the new play ground just for Delridge Community center. As we came in we noticed the big pile of wood. later on we found out they're making a playground. this Friday they are going to cut the ribbon. All summer interns are supposed to be there at 1:30 Pm and take photos on how it is going. After we had that fun taking pictures of the volunteers and who has the whole thing running, the interns got to go to this park . We took many photos of nature, plants and wildlife. I did not get any photos of wild life. but i did get some plants and a spider Web, without the spider on it. everyone was tired and exhausted from the long walk. we noticed that there weren't that much birds or anything we could have taken. "the picture above is a spider web i found while people were trying to avoid the web. it is caught from a top angle. If you click on the image the detail of the web will show better."

"The picture below is a pile of something i found while walking across this small bridge. I set down the camera, and then turned on macro and worked the magic."

I learned about ISO, and the day light functions. we had much fun but it was really hot !
